The PORTLAND project was born from the idea of reusing and giving a new life to old construction tools, which are by now too rusty and outdated for safe use.The project takes advantage of their features of being fixed between ceiling and floor, their carrier ability and adaptation to various heights. In the "Rust" version every prop can differ from one another in detail, as they come from depots and from different original manufacturers.
The surface keeps the original look and is protected by a special treatment only, so it leaves a trace of "construction site history", made of work and foul this construct used to live and take part in before becoming a new elegant and functional interior design item.
